Meet Nancy
I founded Nancy Hassett Gloves because I couldn’t find the glove I wanted: lightweight, beautiful, and fingerless, with a second-skin feel that let me move through my day without constantly taking it on and off. I envisioned a glove that would protect my hands from the sun by day, complement my outfits at night, and pair effortlessly with my favorite jewelry. When that glove didn’t exist, I decided to create it.
My hands tell the story of a full life. I was a young single mother and am now a grandmother. Throughout the decades, I’ve kept creating and have never been afraid to start something new. I began my career in the travel industry, owned a hot tub store in Bethesda, Maryland, and later bought a 12-bedroom log bed-and-breakfast that became the Savory Inn and Cooking School of Vail. After selling the inn, I purchased an established vineyard in southwestern Colorado. I continued to nurture my creative spirit by acquiring, designing, and renovating additional properties. That fearless drive to innovate has defined my life’s journey.
It took more than three years to assemble a team of designers, textile experts, and technicians who could bring my vision to life. We continue to innovate and refine every detail. I’m incredibly proud of these fingerless gloves and hope you find them as comfortable and beautiful as I intended.

Nancy is committed to making charity a part of her life's work. We donate gloves to people who need them most. Whether it’s for recovery from a physical burn, injury, or a mental health pick-me-up for someone in need, we’re here to help.
Why Fingerless?
Because life requires us to be able use our sense of touch all day. I wanted a fingerless glove for myself, and simply could not find one anywhere that provided the lightweight feel and comfort I was looking for. So, I created it, loved it, and decided to offer it to other women.

To bring NANCY HASSETT to life, Nancy assembled a team of seasoned experts spanning women’s contemporary fashion, high-fashion accessories, apparel design, and advanced textiles. The group brings deep experience shaping modern wardrobes and innovating at the highest levels of the industry, including work with leading fashion houses and well-established brands.
Design Story
Nancy has a varied entrepreneurial and design history. From travel agencies, to Hot Water Habitats in Bethesda, MD, to the Savory Inn and Cooking School of Vail, CO, and numerous home design and renovations across the country. NANCY HASSETT gloves is her next adventure.
